Our Main Events
Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation is a registered Canadian charitable foundation. It is focused on improving the quality of life of children with cancer and their families. To this end, the Foundation raises funds by conducting memorable events that encourage an active, healthy lifestyle.
Over the past five years, close to $5 million has been raised through the annual “Tour For Kids” cycling adventure, “The Inside Ride” cycling fund-raising program and several cross-continent cycling events.
Part of the Foundation’s mandate is to inspire wellness, encourage volunteerism within our communities, and instill a sense of pride and purpose in everyone that is touched by a Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation event.

May 2009 »Register for Beat the Recession Trail Running Series
We are the first weeknight trail running series in the GTA - with races taking place in Brampton, Oakville, Georgetown, Toronto, Hamilton, Mississauga and Milton. A total of 63 races from May through September 2009! Whether you race to challenge yourself, commune with nature or simply to stay active, we'd like to invite you to join us this spring, summer and fall on trails across the GTA. Race once or participate in multiple races through the season. Race close to home at your local race, or explore trails in neighbouring cities. Bring your training partners, friends and kids for a great evening in the outdoors! Walk or run - the choice is yours. Join us for the Concert Series in The Park
A free concert in the park, right downtown, Brampton. That’s the story with the popular Thursday Night Concert Series, back for the 8th summer at Gage Park – as presented by the Investors Group. This 13-week series features a potpourri of acts taking in jazz, folk, classic rock, swing, and, of course, the Brampton Concert Band. Investors Group is the major sponsor for the Tour For Kids and Concert patrons are asked to make a donation during this free Concert Series. The concerts run from 7-9 pm each Thursday from bring lawn chairs for you and your family, and enjoy a great evening of entertainment. A different band is featured each Thursday evening during the summer. Local free parking. The Hockey Canada Cup - Women’s Hockey Tournament
The Hockey Canada Cup - Women’s Hockey Tournament is the premier female hockey tournament in the World prior to the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, BC. The event will take place in Vancouver at GM Place from August 31st to September 6th, 2009. This will be the venue hosting the upcoming ice hockey tournaments for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. This will be your last opportunity to see Team Canada in Vancouver prior to the 2010 Winter Games.
